I will be coming back to this site as more clues come to light. So far I have John
ALLCOCK living in Whaplode Drove in 1841 and 1851, however his wife Hannah is shown
as living in Parson Drove. From this site, I have identified a second ALLCOCK -
MORTON link - the Morton name also being passed down to John Allcock's grandson
William Morton BAILEY born in Whaplode Drove in 1855. There is also a KINGERLEY link
as John Allcock is recorded as a marriage witness in 1835 at Whaplode Drove as John
Kingly Allcock.
